Tragedy As Four Die As Bus Collides With Truck In Oke Ogun

No fewer than four people have been confirmed to have lost their lives when a commercial bus collided with a truck along the Iseyin-Saki road in Ogun State.

The incident occurred Tuesday evening around 9pm.

It was gathered that the Saki-bond commercial bus collided with the truck at Agunrege town, along Iseyin-Saki road in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo state.

It was gathered that four out of the thirteen passengers in the ill-fated bus reportedly died immediately after the accident.

Other occupants of the bus who were injured have been taken to hospital for medical attention.

Oyo State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Mrs Uche Chukwurah, when contacted, noted that the incident has not been reported to the agency.

Chukwurah, who spoke in a telephone conversation with Dailypost on Wednesday, said that nobody reported the incident to her.

She said, “I am not in the picture sir,“I did not get any report on that.”

But, Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi when contacted, confirmed the incident.

Fadeyi told Dailypost that four people lost their lives in the incident.

Fadeyi in a reply to an SMS enquiry said, “Only four lives were lost please.”
