Omoruyi Signs First Pro Contract With SD Huseca, Starts From B Team

Young Nigerian striker Kevin Carlos Omoruyi has signed his first professional contract with the newly promoted Laliga side, SD Huesca until 2023, Completesports.com reports.

Omoruyi joined Huesca as a 18 year old in July 2019 from Tercera Division [4th Division] side AD Almudevar and have had.been the club’s youth team.

The lad who is of Nigerian mother and Spanish mother, will be looking to to impress Huesca coach Michel Sanchez soon and join his compatriot Kelechi Nwakali in the first team.

Omoruyi got his upgrade at SD alongside right-winger Manu Molina, and the new development was announced on Huesca official website on Thursday.

“The footballers Kevin Carlos [Omoruyi] and Manu Molina, youth players from the Sociedad Deportiva Huesca, renewed their relationship with the Catalan club until 2023 and 2021 respectively,” Huesca stated.

“Kevin [Omoruyi, a 19-year-old forward, played this last season in the Alto Aragonese Youth of Honor, where he had been an important asset in the demanding course of the youth in the best national league in the category, with 25 games as a starter and seven goals.

“Molina, 21-year-old right winger, has played 27 matches in Second Division B with SD Ejea, scoring four goals and assisting twice.

“Both have taken part in this course of the dynamics of the first team after the break in the competition in the Second Division due to the coronavirus pandemic, and they have exercised regularly under the supervision of Michel Sanchez at the Pirámide facilities. Kevin was also called up by the coach in the last two days of LaLiga SmartBank against CD Numancia and Real Sporting de Gijón.”
