President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Mali for a peace mission and he was seen wearing a face mask for the first time since the outbreak of the coronavirus in Nigeria in February 2020.
KanyiDaily had reported that the visit to Mali is the first foreign trip President Buhari will be embarking on since coronavirus was declared a global pandemic.
Buhari and some West African leaders travelled to Bamako, the Malian capital to find a solution to the worsening political crisis in the francophone country.
In the photographs and video shared by his aide, Bashir Ahmad, on Thursday, July 23, 2020, President Buhari was seen wearing a white face mask as he disembarks the presidential jet.

The Nigerian President had refrained from wearing a face mask in Nigeria while in the midst of people despite the grave risk to his health.
KanyiDaily had reported that the people of Mali have been protesting against President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, calling on him to resign after spending two out of his five years second term in office.
