Super Eagles right-back Shehu Abdullahi has expressed his delight after returning to training with his Turkish club Bursaspor, Completesports.com reports.
The four-tiers of football was suspended in March by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) due to the coronavirus outbreak.
But a few days ago president of the TFF, Nihat Ozdemir, announced that the Turkish Super Lig will resume play on June 12.

And Abdullahi was delighted to get back to training with his teammates ahead of resumption of football in Turkey.
“We are back in training, the world is gradually winning over #Covid_19. I’m delighted, work is back. I appreciate your support and motivation. Keep safe and stay alive!” Abdullahi wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
Europe’s top-tier leagues, including Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga and Premier League, are expected to resume matches, with governments of their respective countries signaling easing restrictions on training for athletes.
Only France and the Netherlands have so far ended their football leagues prematurely.
