Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo was on target for Rangers in their 3-0 away win against Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League on Friday night, Completesports.com reports.

It was Aribo’s second goal in 15 league appearances in the league for Rangers.

He scored his last goal on November 10 in a 2-0 away win against Livingston.

Aribo doubled Rangers’ lead in the eight minute after Ryan Kent had opened scoring in the fourth minute.

Former England international Jermain Defoe made it 3-0 in the 53rd minute.

Seven minutes after Defoe’s goal, Hibernian were reduced to 10 men after Ryan Porteous was sent off.

Rangers are now unbeaten in 15 consecutive league games, winning 13 and drawing two, and are on 44 points, just two points off leaders Celtic.

A win for Celtic against visiting Aberdeen would see them extend their lead over Rangers to five points.

In the Spanish LaLiga, Ramon Azeez was an unused substitute for Granada who lost 3-0 away to Eibar.

Azeez has now been benched in Granada’s last four consecutive league games.

He last played in the league on November 23 in a 1-1 home draw against Atletico Madrid.

He has made 12 league appearances, scoring two goals so far this current campaign.

Eibar goals were scored by Sergi Enrich in the 21st minute, Kike in the 26th minute and Takashi Inui on 87 minutes.

His last outing for Granada was in the Spanish Copa del Rey in midweek which they won 3-2 after extra-time.

Azeez provided the assist for Granada’s third goal scored by Adrian Ramos who bagged a brace in the game.

And in the English Championship, Oghenekaro Etebo was once again left out of Stoke City squad that lost 2-1 away to Middlesbrough.

Friday’s absence means Etebo has now missed Stoke’s last five games.

The last time he made the matchday squad was on November 26, away to Cardiff City.
