Tosin Adarabioyo hopes to be the long-term solution to Pep Guardiola’s defensive woes at Manchester City.
Adarabioyo, 22, is regarded as one of the pearls of Manchester City’s world class youth academy and has shone while on loan in the Championship this season.
And it will give City an interesting dilemma next month to see if they recall the 6ft 5in Adarabioyo from his loan spell at Skybet Championship club, Blackburn Rovers to solve their defensive injury problems at the Etihad.
No-one is in any doubt about the talent of Phil Foden but, incredibly, Adarabioyo has been at City for 17 years, has already played for them in the Champions League and if the academy system works then surely this is his time.

Bright and eloquent, Adarabioyo is full of praise for the City system and his footballing education but there is also a burning desire to make it at the top level.
“My long term ambitions are to go back to City, get my chance and then have a run in the team. You never give up on that and hopefully I’ve improved my chances of doing that this season,”Adarabioyo told mirror.co.uk.
“I wouldn’t say that they are purposely pushing but I would say that if you are good enough and if you can show that you can play at that level then you will get a chance.
“It’s a high level so you have to be world class. I wouldn’t say there’s pressure on them to bring through players. There’s pressure on them to win the league. But it’s my personal aim to make it.”
