Former Galatasaray star Burak Yılmaz says Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is a player currently above the Turkish League.

The Nigerian international joined the Turkish giant from Napoli in the summer.

Speaking with TRT Spor via haber sari kirmizi, Yilmaz stated that Osimhen is a very high-level football player with his athletic structure and physical genetics.

“If we ask any Galatasaray fan, you will see that the Europa League does not make them happy. Galatasaray is a Champions League team, this is what distinguishes Galatasaray,” he said.

“Victor Osimhen is a very high-level football player with his athletic structure and physical genetics. He is a European center forward and one of the top 5-6 center forwards in the world.

“There are many top-level teams following Osimhen closely. Victor Osimhen is currently a player above the Turkish League in terms of physical appearance, he should not be harmed.”
