Abia Warriors captain Augustine Njoku has declared that the club will fight for maximum points against Niger Tornadoes.
Imama Amapakabo’s side have recorded just one win from their last five games.
Njoku also tasked the fans to come in large numbers and cheer the team
“My message to Abia Warriors fans is just to, first of all plead with them because of the level of inconsistency in the team now,” he told the club’s media.
” Talking about getting results, I’m pleading with the fans to still give us a little time because, the team as I used to say is a work-in-progress so, I believe going forward, the four games remaining in the first round I believe they are going to see a new Abia Warriors.
“So, I urge them to still come out en masse to support and cheer us to victory on Sunday.”
