Exclusive: 2023 U-20 AFCON: Dosu Thumbs Up Flying Eagles Victory Over Tunisia

Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph has commended the Flying Eagles for winning the Bronze medal at the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Recall that the Flying Eagles of Nigeria clinched bronze at the competition after defeating Tunisia 4-0 in the Third-place play-off on Friday.

This will be the third time in history Nigeria have finished third-placed at the competition.

Reacting to the team’s brilliant performance, the Atalanta Olympic gold medalist told Completesports.com that the team still has more work to be done to be at their best.

“I am delighted with the Flying Eagles 4-0 win over Tunisia. Well, they have done enough to redeem their image after their poor showing against Gambia in the semi-final.

“I just hope the technical crew will identify those areas that he needs to work on before the U-20 FIFA World Cup.”
