Aina Stars In Torino’s Victory Over Sampdoria

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina played a vital role in Torino’s 3-0 whitewash of Sampdoria in Saturday’s Serie A game.

The Nigerian international, who was making his 10th appearance had decent game before he was substituted in the 86th minute by Ricardo Rodriguez.

The host took the lead in the 17th minutes through Dennis Praet before Wilfried Singo extended their lead in the 91st minutes.

However, Andrea Belotti came on from the bench in the 53rd minute to score the third goal that took the game beyond the reach of Sampdoria.

The victory move Torino to 11th on the log on 14 points while Sampdoria sit 15th on 9 points.
