Ola Aina featured for Torino as they ended a run of poor results with a hard fought 3-2 home win against Genoa, in the Serie A on Friday.
Aina made his eight appearance of the season after coming on for Cristian Ansaldi on 72 minutes.
Going into Friday’s game Torino were winless in their last four games (two defeats, two draws).
Torino raced to a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Arnaldo Sanabria (14th minute) and Tommaso Pobega (31st minute).
Mattia Destro pulled a goal back for Genoa in the 69th minute but Josip Brekalo got Torino’s third on 77 minutes.
With 10 minutes left in the game Felipe Caicedo scores Genoa’s second goal but Torino held on to claim all three points.
The win move Torino to 10th position on 11 points in the league table.
