Benedict Akwuegbu has enrolled into the Anglia Ruskin University London to study Sports Management which will equip him with the prerequisite academic knowledge to manage sports business as he embarks on a new phase of life after 21 years of illustrious professional football career, Complete Sports reports.

The former Super Eagles striker retired from active football 10 years ago. And on Wednesday, September 16, 2020, the 30-cap Super Eagles and AK Grazer of Austria forward commenced his four-year program at the London University.
