Oshoala On Target Again In Barcelona Women’s Win Vs Montpellier In Friendly Game

Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala got one of Barcelona women’s goals in their 6-1 win against French side Montpellier, in Sunday’s friendly game, Completesports.com reports.

Oshoala scored in the 63rd minute to make it 4-0 to Barcelona.

The reigning Africa Women’s Player of the Year got one of Barcelona’s goals in the 3-0 win against Montpellier in last Sunday’s friendly win.

Aitana Bonmati opened scoring for Barcelona in the 19th minute before Lieke Martens doubled the lead on 39 minutes.

An own goal by Montpellier’s Sarah Puntigam made it 3-0 while Alexia Putellas and Leila Ouahabi got Barcelona’s fifth and sixth goals in the 72nd and 89th minutes respectively.

Montpellier pulled a goal back in the 82nd minute to bring score to 5-1.

Oshoala and her Barcelona teammates’ next game is against Atletico Madrid, in the quarter-final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on August 21.
