Former Super Eagles striker Obafemi Martins was in action for Shanghai Shenhua, who picked up their first win of the new Chinese Super League season with a 3-2 home win against Shenzhen FC on Thursday, Completesports.com reports.
In their opening game of the season Shanghai Shenhua lost 2-0 at Guangzhou Evergrande last Saturday.
It was Martins’ second game for Shanghai Shenhua since returning to the club.

The 35-year-old former Inter Milan striker who was on from the start of the game was later replaced 10 minutes into the second half.
Mingjian Zhao (10th minute), Baojie Zhu (48th minute) and Shin-Wook Kim (penalty, 63rd minute) were the scorers for Shanghai Shenhua.
While John Mary scored Shenzhen’s two goals in the 53rd and 90th minutes.
The win took Shanghai Shenhua to fifth on three points in the eight-team Group A standing.
