Nigeria midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu is in buoyant mood after Istanbul Basaksehir won the Turkish Super Lig for the first time on Sunday, reports Completesports.com.
Basaksehir captured the title after a 1-0 win against Kayserispor.
Second-placed Trabzonspor 4-3 at home to Konyaspor.

Basaksehir, which becomes the only sixth club to win the Super Lig since its inception in 1959, tops
the standings with 69 points , seven ahead of Trabzonspor with one round left.

Azubuike, who joined Basaksehir from Egyptian side Pyramid FC on a one-year loan deal last summer made 17 league appearances for the club.
