Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has revealed that Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen sounded him out about racism in Italy ahead of a potential move to the club this summer.
The Blues are desperate to bring in the Lille striker as replacement for Poland’s Arkadiusz Milik who is set to leave the club at the end of the season.
Napoli have offered Osimhen a lucrative five-year contract in a bid to lure him to Naples but are yet to get a positive response from the 21-year-old.
There are reports Osimhen is not too keen on a move to Napoli due to racism concern.

“I too felt the bitterness of the racist insult, but never in Naples. I reassured him, I told him that if he comes, he will have the best choice. Then, the rest will have to be done by the leaders. ”
Osimhen scored 18 goals and provided six assists in 38 games across all competitions for Lille in the 2019/20 season.
