Iheanacho Beaten To Leicester’s MOTM Award In Win Vs Bournemouth

Belgian star Youri Tielemans beat Kelechi Iheanacho to Leicester City’s Man of the Match award in their 3-0 home win against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday, Completesports.com reports.

Leicester announced Tielemans as the best player on their verified Twitter handle after the club fans voted who the best player of the match was.

Tielemans polled 42 per cent to finish top and was closely followed by Jamie Vardy on 40 per cent.

While Iheanacho, who gave Leicester the lead, and Harvey Barnes got 12 and five per cent respectively.

Iheanacho scored for the second consecutive game for Leicester after he opened scoring in the 49th minute.

He has now scored five goals in 16 league appearances for Leicester City this season.

The win saw Leicester maintain third position on 58 points in the league table.
