Former U-23 Eagles forward Bright Enobakhare has linked up with Greek club AEK Athens on a three-year contract, reports Completesports.com.

Enobakhare, 22, left Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers by a mutual agreement in May after a total of 49 first team appearances and three goals.

The powerful forward also spent time on loan at Coventry City , Wigan Athletic and Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock.

AEK announced Enobakhare’s arrival on their official website on Saturday.

“PAE AEK announces the acquisition of Bright Enobakhare. The 22-year-old Nigerian international striker signed a contract with our team until the summer of 2023, “reads the statement.

“Well done, welcome to the AEK family!

“We wish you every success with the yellow and black jersey!”

Enobakhare is looking forward to a great time at the club following the move.

“It is a great move (the transfer to AEK) and I am happy to be here. To be honest, I searched the internet, like YouTube, for how the team plays and how I train, and I think it will fit in with my playing style, so I’m happy to be here,”he stated.

“I don’t want to talk about myself so much, I think the stadium will ‘talk’ about me,” he said.

Enobakhare was part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2019 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
