Mr. Fola Adeola serves as Managing Director of TransCorp. Hilton Hotel. Mr. Adeola served as Pioneer Managing Director and Chief Executive at Guaranty Trust Bank, Nigeria for 12 years, which he founded in 1990. Mr. Adeola served as the Deputy General Manager and Divisional Head of Financial Services Division at the Continental Merchant Bank Limited, from 1986 to 1990.

He also served as a Manager at the NAL Merchant Bank Plc, from 1982 to 1986. Mr. Adeola served as a Senior Auditor of D.O. Dafinone & Co. Mr. Adeola served as the Chief Executive Officer at Transnational Corporation of Nigeria. He is the Founder and Chairman of FATE Foundation. He is the Founder and Chairman of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc. Mr. Adeola serves as Chairman of the Board at Main One Cable Company Nigeria Ltd. He serves as a Member of the Advisory Board of Advanced Finance & Investment Group LLC. Mr. Adeola served as a Director of UTC Nigeria Plc. Mr. Adeola served as Chairman of the National Pension Commission.

Mr. Adeola is a Council Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (“ICAN”), Institute of Directors of Nigeria (“IOD”) as well as a Member of the National Honors and Awards Committee of the country. Mr. Adeola has presented over twenty papers in various countries on a wide range of topics. In 1999, Mr. Adeola was awarded membership of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (MNI). In 2004 and 2005, he served as a Member of the United Kingdom Prime Minister Tony Blair’s Commission for Africa. Mr. Adeola is an entrepreneur, private investor and philanthropist. Mr. Adeola attended Yaba College of Technology where he obtained his HND in Accountancy. He has also obtained degrees from the London School of Accountancy, the International Institute for Management Development (IEP), the Lagos Business School (CEP), and the Harvard Business School (OPM).
