This sweet is usually served during a child's naming ceremony: signifying that the life of the child would be as "sweet as adun". It is also presented as a gift at engagement ceremonies.

150g/6oz ground make/corn
I level teaspoon ground chilli
25g / 1oz ground onion
I tablespoon palm-oil

Heat the oil in a small pan. When hot, fry the onions and chilli for 2 minutes. Add the ground corn, remove from heat and mix well.Shape into small balls and serve.
