IGBEKERE (Plantain chips)


4 half-ripen plantains
salt to taste
oil for deep frying

Peel plantain and cut in half. Slice thinly diagonally or into rounds, sprinkle with salt. Heat the oil and deep fry the slice of plantain until crisp and golden Drain and serve as an accompaniment to drinks or a snack
