Africa’s manufacturing magnate and style icon, Chief (Mrs) Folashade Noimot Okoya has added another feather to her cap. She is among the 437 nominees of the 2022 national honours awards conferred by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The formidable businesswoman is a recipient of the Member of the Order of the Niger, MON award.
Other prominent women on the list sighted by newsmen are; the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Amina J. Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and multiple award-winning writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
While Okonjo-Iweala and Amina Mohammed would be honoured with GCON, Chimamanda would be conferred with OFR.
