Police in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, have presented two female suspects for supplying guns to kidnappers for various operations.

Frank Mba, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, presented 11 kidnap suspects, including the two women.

Aisha Ibrahim, 30, one of the accused, described how she transported an AK-47 gun from Lafia, Nasarawa State, to Kaduna State.

Ibrahim claimed she delivered the pistol to her male lover in Kaduna, who she identified as Babangida, one of the parading suspects.

Hafsat Adamu, the other female suspect, claimed she took a gun from Kujama to Abuja Junction in Kaduna State.

She claimed she took a commuter bus while concealing the gun in a box.

Adamu claimed that a man named Suleiman (who was also paraded) gave her the gun at Kujama and met her at Abuja Junction, where they boarded a commercial vehicle to Gwagalada in Abuja.

Meanwhile, one of the suspects, Musa Ibrahim, 27, claimed that carrying out kidnapping operations while dressed in military clothes was easier for him.
