Erling Haaland, a striker for Borussia Dortmund, has expressed his sadness at the news that Jadon Sancho has joined Manchester United, putting an end to their fantastic relationship at the Bundesliga giants.
Haaland, on the other hand, believes that Dortmund has plenty of players who can replace the vacuum left by Sancho.
Remember that earlier this month, Man United finally finalized a transfer deal for Sancho.
Last season, Haaland and Sancho scored 35 goals and added 17 assists between them in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund thrashed RB Leipzig 4-1 to win the German Cup for the fifth time in the club’s history.
“Me and Jadon understood each other very well and he’s a top player,” Haaland told Stadium Astro.
“So, of course, it’s sad that he goes, but that’s how it is and that’s football. You never know what will happen.
“But I think that there’s a lot of other good players that I have a good tone with and it can become even better.
“We have to see who I match the best with.”
