
As part of measures to spread the dividends of democracy to the nooks and crannies of the state and aid government’s efforts in giving access to medicare to people at the grassroots, a free medical mission; the IleriOluwa Medical and Surgical Outreach for Adult and Children is scheduled to hold between Friday, July 9 and July 11 with July 10 set aside for surgeries.
The IleriOluwa Medical and Surgical Outreach is a collaborative effort between the Osun State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Engr Remi Omowaiye and an organic skincare therapy company, Gifty Organic Therapy, with medical support from Hope Floats Initiatives.
Speaking on the outreach, the CEO of Gifty Organic Therapy, Jennifer Elechi, said the surgical mission will take place at the State Hospital Ilesa and over 100 medical personnel and paramedical staff are expected to be on ground to attend to the needs of the people, adding that
the medical intervention is for people with herniorhaphies, herniotomies, various lumps and hydrocelectomics.
The medical intervention is to bring succour to Osun residents living in sorrow because of health challenges and the organisers have urged all prospective beneficiaries to register at the state hospital, ilesa before Friday, July 8 and avail themselves of the opportunity of the surgical mission.
