Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) members have marched to the streets of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to protest Nnamdi Kanu’s detention.
During a press conference on Sunday, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, said the IPOB commander was captured owing to “collaborative efforts of Nigerian intelligence and security forces.”
Reno Omokri, a former presidential advisor to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, shared the video on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Kingsley, an IPOB leader’s brother, revealed on Wednesday that his brother was detained in Kenya.
The Nigerian government has refused to confirm the location of the IPOB leader’s detention.
Kenyan authorities kept Kingsley’s brother until he was returned to Nigeria, according to a statement made by Kingsley on Wednesday.
