She is of pleasurable plenty
With highly natural beauty
In all season, with her the sun smiles
Within her, many profound secrets lie
Things in her, past and present, are of great learning
Her nights, to her children are of bliss and blessing
Purified and energized they are with her days
Highly gifted, they are in sophisticated ways
She skillfully can make a drum talk
And creatively can wake a spirit to walk
First among the world, God placed her
And the world called her, Africa.
