So what can really cease the flow of time
Which runs, 'longside sweat like Niger river,
A thousand years b'falls man in diverse rhyme
Then pain, conflict in sonorous shiver.
The clinging brass of hailed exploits of men
Do drown along the endless counts of age,
And sombre strives therein; of where and when
Upon the man born of nobler knowledge.
But time and changes swing the world to bend,
Alike, do create a man of greater girth
And so our lives; may mere rhetorics, lend
While drench us still with breath in beautous mirth.
In rhapsody of words a man is born
But winds of Mars do break' before his morn.
