This is part of me that I have to define:
seclusion of fate with much to bind.
I had me do things in exemption;
coz I so much believed in exception.
I shrinked spaces; so to reach places.
I sought faces; hoping for new phases.
Promises failed; despairs actually rolled up.
Premises spurred me; then my talent showed up.
Amateur attempt is like a pretty flaws;
so I had to groom me to be among the draws.
I wouldn't say my success is by chance;
coz I worked hard for it and smashed the chains.
The memory of my younger days past;
is nothing compared to my present day class.
I had had tears running down my cheek;
like this very one blotting the ink.
These tears are parts of my privacy:
the pretension of things you couldn't see.
I've been thro colleges, had degrees on fine papers;
my theoretical thoughts, got me confined by haters.
And my practical promptings, put me back on the limelights;
then my zigzag way to fortunes suddenly turned to fine-lines.
This is just the summary of my ugly adventures in different milieus;
I was tried, challenged, shaken, and my prowess got tainted like mildews.
Are you like me now?, hoping for a bright future;
all you need is faith and persistence to grace your culture.
If I had given up on fate; then I wouldn't know how to wait.
That spot might aches now; but from there, you shall be raised.
Ask your Momma about your birth; then you will see how great you are.
God has preserved you, favored you, chose you; so don't you spar.
