Poem
Title: Let The Cat Out Of The Bag
Written By: Apeh Alexandra Ojima

Let the cat out of the bag,
You silent, gentle and lousy creature.
Let the Nightingale feels thy song,
Let the lonely daffodil smile to thy gbemu, gbemu.
Let the nation feels thy sorrow of heartbeat.
Let the Iroko knows of her ugliness.

Oh! Let the cat out.
Even if you were made a laughing stock.
Let the tumultuous action out of the silent palace.
Let the violets that never wither feels of its fragrance.
Let the cat out, a day if the day is today.
Let it out for thy action is needed.

Let it out, to prove thy innocent.
Let it out, to prove thy mighty.
Let it out, to prove thy feeling.
Let it out, to prove thy love,
And if she reply,
Give her the misery sit.

Let the cat out of the bag
To see the glamorous face of the sky,
When the cold rain fall without the company of wind.
Yes, then I shall fall with thee,
In our secret paradise where roses pronounce name.
Name like love.
