Reading is an act that in-tunes the human soul with the author's words; an ability to dream beyond your present state and dwell in an atmosphere of happiness or sadness or joy or laughter. Reading is an act that captivates the human mind into seeing things from a different perspective and broaden one's horizon about a culture, religion, people, place, country and continent that one have never been to or even though been there have never engaged in such an atmosphere.
The act of reading is birthed by the thoughts that flow through the author's mind, life, environment, ideology and perspective. The book, perhaps a Novel, is a masterpiece of the author that captivates the readers curiosity about what is to happen in the proceeding pages and chapters.
I reside in a city called Denver. When I get the opportunity to ride on the train I see people both young and old engage in something that tends to turn their minds off the worries of this world. I see them reading, not thinking about what is going to happen in the next two minutes; but minds shut and engaged in an act that takes them on a journey far away from the train into another world. I then conclude, that Reading must be a passion, a passion that can change one's ideology about life, an ambition that can open doors into a different career, a drive that can increase one's knowledge. I am in love with this act and every time, as I dig into it, I discover that I am in love with ‘Reading’ and ‘Reading’ with me.
