FAT TOAD FOR SUPPER
a. Tin, stringy frog
Is not a meal for supper
Dry, skinny toad
Is not my kind of dish.
b. I like to have
A dish of toad for supper
Cook it so rich
I’ll surely dine on it.
c. Put in some spice
To add more relish
Season it well
I’ll surely dine on it.
d. The world is risk
No damn for arcane dish
Cook it so nice
I’ll surely dine on it.
e. Pass it with wine,
A fabulous drink
To wash it down
I’ll surely dine on it.
f. The world is risk
No damn for secret dish
Make it so rich
I’ll surely dine on it.
g. It must be fat
And highly seasoned
Make it so rich
I’ll surely dine on it.
h. Toad for supper
Fat toad for supper
Frog for supper,
A secret dish of risk.
