A wailing wish that you were close,
A drop of tear atop my nose.
A heart-felt song that rocks my soul,
My spirit so moved, my body follows.
I stand afar to call to you,
In silence: hopes that you hear me too.
One body, one soul yet stand astride,
For the want of your touch so mild.
To my heart, this mind bears witness,
For they stand solo in the wilderness.
And my soul bears them both,
As it will always know to float.
As would i'ld love ourselves to be,
whether in the air or boat at sea.
A wailing wish that you were near,
A weakened heart does hold you dear.
An augur tone would blow my mind,
Will leave me helpless, and speeches blind.
But a wailing wish that i wail not last,
That all these are gone and past.
