Bouncy balls on bounce
On bruised brows
Of destitute citizens,
Dwellers of dingy dwellings.
Swinish state servants
In swift swoop
Swallow sums for stadia.
Shrills,
Shrieks
Seep into squalid shelters
Of starving citizenry,
Stirring more sorrows.
Senior citizens without pensions,
Yawning youths and
Deprived adults
Struggle to make sense
Of the strident shout,
Futubol!
