Believe it or not, Ijeoma Imo is one of the most beautiful girls that pass through the industry called Nollywood.
She is a model, a dancer, an actress and a showstop per any day. But she is shy, very shy that she says no to every thing that would readily expose her to the public.

Yet she is an interviewer's delight any time and she dropped three bombshell including the fact that any man who could move her must be equal to the task of paying her bills. She also says that most girls who think that a producer or director could give them roles just for sleeping with them are stupid.

Please enjoy the rest.

"I come from Arochukwu in Abia State. I have always been fascinated by the arts. I love to dance and started acting right from my secondary school days and had been organizing drama.

Currently I am a student of Ogun State University where I am studying Economics.

I entered the Nigerian movie industry by accident. Whenever I come on holiday, I always want to do something to keep myself busy. Then there was a strike and I came home and immersed myself into the industry.

So I can say that a strike brought me into the industry. I wanted to be busy. There is no way you would expect me to get a full time job and leave after some months to go back to my studies. I needed a part time thing to do. Ever since, I have done Another Hope, Lost love, Exchange of power, Day time lover etc.

I have also done several musical videos as well. I have also done several yet to be released. I've only played sub lead and not a lead role yet and this is what I am waiting for God's time. I know very well that I can play a lead role. I know one day it would be my chance. However, I have been influenced by two leading women, Joke Silva Jacobs and Jennifer Ariston.

Low hair cut?

Many people scream whenever I come around and they say you are beautiful with your hair short and I don't believe them. I have always had a low cut since primary school. Never been influenced to make it longer.

I love to leave my hair short because it is easier for me to handle and at least whenever I take my bath water permeates. I love it also when I swim. Let me tell you, I love to swim. And I do this every weekend at Rochester Hotels.

I am a member of the club. I swim to keep fit and once a while I go to Festac to swim. I learnt to swim just like that I am not afraid of water so I asked the instructor to help me out.

Sexual harassment?

It is all the talk of the town in the industry and I don't see it like that. If a producer sees you and likes you, you are bound to either accept or reject him, say yes or no. It's your choice. I keep hearing this.

You are not being raped for crying out loud so it all depends on the individual. People have told you this and that. They always talk about the ones they reject what about the ones they accept?

If you haven't seen my work before and assessed my performance, what makes you think you will give me a job?

Most girls stupidly believe that they could get a top job when they sleep around. I laugh at them. It is a matter of choice.

Kind of man I will fall for a man who is in love with God and respects Him. What ever decision he wants to take must have God at the head. He must not be handsome and rich. Middle class man, I am not looking for a very rich guy or a very handsome guy. I want a presentable guy who could take care of my bills any way.

Beauty Pageants?

Many people have wished I feature in a beauty pageant but I don't feel like that. I have never contested not for the lack of confidence but for the lack of interest. But I like keeping myself beautiful. I go to work out in the gym often.

Challenge?

Because I have not taken any lead role, I cant say I have been challenged in the movie industry. I want to be challenged. I am not there yet. I know it. But I want to be up there like other girls of my style. That is my prayer really.

Family tree?

I am the first from behind in the family and that means I am the last and no one disturbs me. My parents are alive. I don't lie to my mum, she knows every where I go. She is close to me just like my sisters and she brought me up to respect my elders.

My greatest fear?

What I am going to tell God at the end of the day. I am a new creature I am born again. I don't care what you think but that is the truth.

Marriage?

It doesn't come into my focus now. People have been coming to woo my hand but it is not just that I am not ready but because sometimes and most times what you see is not what it seems.

We have to be compatible. Sometimes you see someone and your spirit does not agree with him. I have to marry a man whom tomorrow I wont regret marrying. I just want to marry a guy I love not for his money. But God will decide him.

Winis as a call joint

I don't see it as true. People come to Winis for different reasons. Some are here for roles. While some come for other reasons. If you come here to be like Geneveive in a twinkle of an eye, then rethink it took her many years to be wherever she is today.

One has to pay her dues. Go to audition but be realistic. There are places you hear that audition is taking place and people are told to pay money. I am scared of such places. The right place to go to an audition is the National Theatre. If you go and you don't make it, my advise is that you go home and don't stop searching.

If you say you want to be star over night, that is when there is problem. If you choose to sleep with producer to get a role, it's your choice. There are basic differences in you sleeping with a producer and getting a role and sleeping with him and not getting the role - just be careful.

Boyfriend?

Of course I do have a boyfriend in my life. He is my fiancé and we have plans. I wont expose him now.

Hobbies

I play Tennis, like I said before I also love to swim. I also love to talk with interesting people with intelligence. That way I improve my life.
