A randy chairman of a Local Government Council in Zamfara State is now on the run after he escaped arrest of the Sharia monitoring committee (Hisba) who stormed his girlfriend's house where he was allegedly having a god time.
It was learned that the Sharia monitoring body stormed the house of the chairman's girlfriend alleged to be prostitute at about 11p.m Tuesday night where the Hisba men sighted him.
It was further gathered that the chairman was in an uncompromising situation with his mistress when the Sharia enforcers invaded the area, and when the randy chairman sighted them, he allegedly took to his heels to escape arrest.
In the escape bid, the council boss was said to have scaled a high wall abandoning his girlfriend, his shoes and official car, a Peugeot 406 with registration number, Kaduna, EB 219 DKA.
The Saturday Sun further gathered that since the incident, the randy local government chairman has not been seen. As at the time of filling this reports Thursday he was no where to be found.
Speaking with newsmen on the incident, a Commissioner in the Zamafara State Hisba Commission, Alhaji Kabiru Ahmed who spoke on behalf of the Commission chairman confirmed that the LG boss girlfriend, Tina Musa, the chairman's shoes and official vehicle were already in the custody of the Sharia enforcers pending conclusion of investigations.
Alhaji Kabiru revealed that his men invaded the lover girl's house at Ungurwar Zabarma, Tudun Wada Gusau, as a result of a tip-off that the randy chairman was a regular visitor to the home of the mistress
