Alliance Congress (AC) candidate, Babatunde Raji Fashola, leading in 18 from a total of 19 local governments results released so far. With only Alimosho result being awaited, it is no surprise, AC supporters are already jubilating across the state.

Abia: INEC has declared the Peoples Progressive Alliance (PPA) candidate, Chief T.A. Orji as winner of the governorship election. He pulled 265,389 to defeat his closest rival, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Chief Onyeama Ugochukwu who scored 136,838 votes. The All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) candidate, Ikechi Emenike, made 36,374.
Ugochukwu has protested the result alleging manipulations by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commission (REC) in the state.

Imo: Reports gathered indicated that the governorship election has been put off and rescheduled for April 28 while the election into the State House of Assembly was upheld.

Oyo: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and sitting deputy governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala declared winner by INEC having scored 357,970 to beat the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) governorship candidate in the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi who garnered 239,189. Ajimobi was trailed by the Action Congress (AC) candidate, Professor Taoheed Adedoja's 146,760 while the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Bashir Lamidi Apata got 23,062.

Kogi: Results have been declared in 18 local governments so far. The PDP candidate and incumbent governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, is leading in fifteen local governments and trailed by the AC candidate, Senator Mohammed Ohiare, who led in three local governments.

Ebonyi: The PDP governorship candidate, Chief Martin Elechi, declared winner of the state governorship polls. The party also cleared all the 22 seats in the State House of Assembly. Elechi pulled 506,444 to the 28,579 scored by the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) candidate, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu.
ANPP and APGA candidates described the election as 'a rape of democracy" as well as 'mockery of democracy."

Bayelsa: Timipreye Sylva of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) declared winner by INEC. Details of the result being are being expected.

Ogun: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate and incumbent governor of the state, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, re-elected with a total vote of 426,132. His closest rival, the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) candidate, Senator Ibikunle Amosun scored 135,149 while the Action Congress (AC) candidate, Otunba Dipo Dina, got 79,915.
