The General Overseer of the Voice of God Prophetic Ministry, Dr. Elijah Agbom at the weekend peered at the crystal ball and came out with the verdict that the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Umar Musa Yar'adua, president Obasanjo's preferred candidate for next Saturday's presidential poll is not the messiah Nigerians are waiting for.
The General Overseer of the Voice of God Prophetic Ministry, Dr. Elijah Agbom at the weekend peered at the crystal ball and came out with the verdict that the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Umar Musa Yar'adua, president Obasanjo's preferred candidate for next Saturday's presidential poll is not the messiah Nigerians are waiting for.
Giving his prophecy to Sunday Sun in an exclusive interview in Kaduna, the man of God said 'Obasanjo wants to impose his will on the Nigerian masses", but that 'Governor Umaru Yar'adua is not the messiah who will take us to the promised land."
Agbom who said he was the man who prophesied Obasanjo's Presidency to General Abdulsalami Abubakar in 1999 in the presence of Prof. Ango Abdullahi, however, said Yar'Adua will turn against Obasanjo and put him in jail.
His prophesy transcends the shores of Nigeria as he also said America's presidency will be won by a female politician, warning that disaster looms for America should those saddled with the conduct of the poll change the results.
According to him, 'Yar'adua's election is by man and not by God" and went ahead to liken Yar'adua to the Biblical Saul who was sought after by the people of Israel to be crowned King.
'What PDP had done is similar to what the people of Israel did because the party searched for Yar'Adua to make him President and not the Nigerian masses who are searching for him to lead them.
'Governor Yar'Adua is not the expected messiah who will take us to the Promised Land. God has not ordained him to be the next president. Handing over leadership to him (Yar'Adua) is just an appointment without the approval of God."
Six days to the presidential poll, Agbom revealed that the election had been concluded and warned the leadership of the country not to play on God's intelligence by working against His will for Nigeria:
'Those who are going out to vote during the forth coming elections should have it at the back of their minds that the power that be had already concluded the elections.
'My candid advice to the voters is that they should value their lives not the outcome of the elections. Anything can happen during the time of counting of the votes. Let Nigerians pray hard to avoid bloodletting during the election."
Why Obasanjo may go back to jail
The offences that will take Obasanjo back to prison are based on God's prediction. God spoke before he became the president and he did not hearken to God's voice. Look, when a man boast of himself, definitely, the person will see shame. What can you say about Goodluck Jonathan? He took money, the wife took money. They searched and found the money and now, he is in the race. A leader must lead by example sir. There are people who retired and had their money trapped in banks as a result of Obasanjo's policy. Why should you continue to make people die every day? Even those who're still working could not get their salaries regularly. This one is greater than the civil war we had before. Where are our children going? Do we have future? God asked Obasanjo to do His will. In Aso Rock, do they have provision for a church there? But somebody did that. The men of God will face the same wrath, especially those who go to Aso Rock to tell Obasanjo that all is well without telling him the truth. The Lord is going to visit them. Obasanjo is failing by himself. He is failing because of the advice of the men of God. I was in Aso Rock blind for seven days. They took me to House 9, Fort IBB as a helpless person. But on the eve of the hour of darkness, God opened my eyes and I saw trailer bring dead people, soldiers and others for burial. I said 'What is all these". God said this is what this nation is going to face. Tunde Bakare then said Obasanjo cannot be sworn in. I had just rounded off the prayers with Gen. Roland Ajiborisa and I told him, this man (Obasanjo) is coming and he stayed. When Obasanjo came out of prison, the first contract he awarded was to renovate prisons. Do you remember? He attached much importance to the prison. But after gaining grounds, did he talk about prison again? Let us tell ourselves the truth. In this country, some very important personalities have been killed and they say they are carrying out investigations. You are a journalist, you investigate. Have they found their killers even with our gadgets and everything we say we have in this country? Obasanjo has failed all round.
Rulership is quite different from leadership; because as a ruler, he will only do what he wants, not what the people want. There are several examples today to buttress this point that Obasanjo does what he wants and not what the people want. If you look at the various inhuman programmes of this government, like the privatization of public companies and the attendant retrenchment of workers and the massive unemployment of graduates, you will agree with me that Obasanjo has done what he wants to do. Obasanjo has failed because he has not sought the face of the Lord. God had said that any of the present presidential candidates will see him back to jail.
OBJ, Sultan, Diya's sons accused of cultism
Nigerian is not only a corrupt country, it has decayed. There is a difference between corruption and decay. It is a time bomb that is waiting to explode and when it does, it will touch everybody. In the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), they sacked 17 cadets and said they were in a secret cult. The 17 cadet rushed to me. The sons of the Sultan of Sokoto, Obasanjo, Gen. Oladipo Diya came and said they were sacked because they said they were in a cult. I asked them: 'Are you people in a cult?" They said no. I then prayed and at the end, I couldn't see any trace of cultism in them. I told them that in seven days time, they would be back in the Academy and that the lecturers involved would be sacked. It so happened. Did the man of God asked whether this is a Muslim or that this is a Christian? The lecturers were sacked and the cadets recalled. That is how a man of God works. This is how the watchman works. Obasanjo should have behaved like the watchman. This is just an example of how Nigeria has decayed.
