The ANPP presidential candidate, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, has sent a "get-well-soon'' message to his PDP counterpart, Gov. Umar Yar'adua.
Abuja, March 8, 2007 (NAN) The ANPP presidential candidate, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari, has sent a "get-well-soon'' message to his PDP counterpart, Gov. Umar Yar'adua.
Yar'adua was flown to a German hospital on Tuesday for medical attention. The Buhari Campaign Organisation expressed Buhari's concern about the development in a statement sent to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) today in Abuja.
The statement signed by the Vice Chairman of the Publicity Committee of the organisation, Mr Osita Okechukwu, quoted Buhari as saying: "With a deep sense of trepidation and empathy, I wish Umaru Yar'adua God's guidance and good health.'' Similarly, the National Chairmen of the Labour Party and APLP, Dan Nwanyanwu and Emmanuel Okereke, as well as the presidential candidate of the CPP, Maxi Okwu, have similarly sent messages to Yar'adua.
