As reactions continue to trail the recent Appeal Court judgment declaring Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the Vice President of the country, the Integrated Supporters for Obasanjo (ISO) said the judgment was political in its entirety and urged the Supreme Court to over turn it so that it would not create a 'delicate dangerous legal precedence."

A statement in Abuja endorsed by the group's National Coordinator, Otunba Idowu Odewale, National Secretary, Prince Kingsley Obolo and its National Treasurer, Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed, said the judgment was spurious and capable of causing anarchy.

The ISO said since the Nigerian constitution recognises the supremacy of political parties in the determination of who becomes the flag bearer of any political party, it is mandatory for persons elected on the platform of a political party to respect the dictates and manifestoes of such party.

The ISO executives reasoned that the Appeal Court judgment was also capable of instigating a deputy governor against the governor, stressing that since Obasanjo and Atiku were elected on the platform of PDP, the Vice President should respect the President and the party that brought him into prominence.
