Obasanjo, Ladoja, Adedibu in secret talks


PRESIDENT Olusegun Obasanjo may have finally settled the lingering face-off between the Oyo State governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja and his estranged godfather and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Chief Lamidi Adedibu.

PRESIDENT Olusegun Obasanjo may have finally settled the lingering face-off between the Oyo State governor, Senator Rashidi Ladoja and his estranged godfather and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Chief Lamidi Adedibu.

Both Ladoja and Adedibu were yesterday sighted at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on arrival and while leaving after they had met with President Olusegun Obasanjo behind closed door for some hours.

Governor Ladoja and Chief Adedibu arrived separately at the State House between 2 p.m and 3 p.m.

However, the governor and the Oyo State PDP chieftain came out together but drove out of the State House separately.

In a brief chat with newsmen, both of them refused to disclose the outcome of the meeting with the President, but merely said it was a family affair.
