Nigerians expressed shock at the discovery in the belly of a dead python found in Mosafejo in Aradagun, Olorunda Local Council of Lagos State, of seven passport photographs of persons (photographs below) presumably living in the community, their names conspicuously inscribed at the backs of the photographs. A list of other names was also found. Three of those in the photographs are believed to have died.

The mystery snake containing the seven photographs was brought home for meal by John Nkasi, an Ebonyi State indigene, a farmer and block maker in the area. He had brought the snake home to be prepared as meal by his nephew Michael
Among the names on the list of persons found in the belly of the python are those of Samuel Olugbenga Idowu, Agoyi Olaniyi Henry Hassan, Adeniyi Iyabode (Omo Labake) and Mr and Mrs Temitope Ajayi.

Others are Emmanuel Ayodeji (Komolafe), Adeniji Olusoji Tunde, Nrs Idowu (Sagem), and Kolawole Abidemi Akado.

The seven persons whose names and passport photographs were found included, Olowu Bolaji Beatrice, Adekunle Jimoh Oyenuga, Adele Nurudeen Tayo, Ali Victor Adewunmi and Eyenabor Greg Ejiofor. The list was signed underneath by one Gbenga while the names of Oroh Kingsley Joseph and Airen Osau Augusta had a signature of somebody who simply wrote Niyi.

As at press time, none of the persons whose names and photographs recovered from the bowel of the snake had shown up but The Guardian gathered that three of the victims had died. One said to be a hairdresser hailed from Ilado, Aradagun town, in Olorunda Local council of Lagos State.

John Nkasi who brought the snake home for meal said " I am satisfied that God has used me to expose the mystery of the world."
