The claim by the retired Bishop of Akure Anglican Diocese, Bishop Bolanle Gbonigi that Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, the wife of the suspended Ekiti State governor had premonition of their ouster from the government house has been described as false and malicious.

Bishop Gbonigi had, in recent media report on the happenings in Ekiti State said that Mrs. Fayose had a premonition of their ouster from the government house and shared it with her husband, who instead of addressing it descended on his wife and manhandled her.

Mrs. Fayose who spoke through the Chief Press Secretary to the suspended governor, Mr. Idowu Adelusi described the statement as not only embarrassing, but also a figment of the imagination of some mischievous people as the incident never happened.

Mrs. Fayose who said she neither knew nor met Bishop Gbonigi anywhere, also said that since the incident never happened, she wonders where he (Bishop Gbonigi) got such a story from.
'I don't know him, I have never met him, the incident never happened, so where did he get such a story from," the governor's wife said.

She stressed that Bishop Gbonigi is not supposed to be just a father to all, but a clergy man adding that, his action is clearly against his professional ethics and it is unheard of.
Mrs. Fayose who explained that she never had a misunderstanding with her husband that will deteriorate to the point of beating, said the only time she lost a pregnancy was in 2004 and it was due to stress as a result of foreign trip she embarked upon then.

In her words, 'when I came back from abroad, I developed complications overnight, I called my husband who was not in Ekiti State by that time, it was he who then made contact with people in the state who could be of help, especially the doctors from government house hospital, who in turn came to my rescue, those facts are there to verify."

'I never had any dream, I never had any vision that has to do with any ouster from the government house, I never knew Bishop Gbonigi from Adam, so if I had any vision or dream, how come will I share it with someone I never knew?" she queried.
