As the count down to the official opening of the Royal Paragon Hotel begins, Chief Jerome Eke, proprietor of the new hospitality outfit says all is set.
Eke spoke to the Telegraph at the hotel after the publication had visited to obtain on-the-spot information on the level of readiness.
The Etche High Chief declared, "We are ready to throw open our doors. To the public"
The Royal Paragon has been running test services for a while, Chief Eke disclosed.
What has been the response? Eke says there has been considerable public interest.
Incidentally, the hotel is located within the vicinity of oil service firms and experts seem to suggest such corporate bodies might be quick to take advantage of its services, including lodging space for their staff.
This publication found the rooms in the hotel were largely taken up already.
But what's the real estate sector like, the Telegraph asked Eke.
The Etche High Chief who owns a property company said there has been a boom in the housing development sector.
Eke attributed the strides gained by real estate to the policies that have been put together by the Odili administration.
Incidentally, if all goes well, Governor Peter Odili who has been pushing for private and indigenous investments would be expected to commission the Royal Paragon.
Are Rivers people marginalized in the clearing and forwarding industry.
Eke does not think so.
His view is that Rivers people are new on the bloc and so would have to take their time to get the big jobs
What would the Royal Paragon offer? What would be its mission?
Eke raps it up. He says guests would get the opportunity to be treated services that only royals can get.
We intend to make guests enjoy the splendour of the Royal Paragon.
