The Federal Government has directed the release of all persons detained in connection with the killing of Lagos State People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Engineer Funsho Williams.
The Federal Government has directed the release of all persons detained in connection with the killing of Lagos State People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant, Engineer Funsho Williams.
The police, however, told the suspects that they could be invited any time it becomes necessary.
Those released are former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Mrs Femi Carena, Engr. Adedeji Doherty, Otunba Tokunbo Kamson, Dr Mike Olawale Cole, Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro, Chief Bosede Oshinowo, Arch Kayode, Anibaba, Barr Owolabi Salif and Mrs Enitan Owotomo.
Also released were, Dr Adedeji Aganga Williams, Alhaja Olayinka Fazaaz., Balogun Princes Gbite Olateru - Olagbagi and Princess Adeola Adenaike.
Chief Sinatu Ojikutu was earlier released after she allegedly fainted in police cell.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) incharge of the FCID Mr. Ogbonnaya Onovo, has been drafted to Ekiti to unravel the mystery behind the killing of another PDP aspirant, Dr Ayo Daramola.
A source told Daily Sun that the police have arrested some suspects in connection with the killing of Daramola.
