MINNA - SENATOR Isah Mohammed has said that he and the Niger State Governor, Engineer Abdulkadir Kure, have finally buried their political differences and have agreed to forge ahead for the progress of the state.
One thing the senator has however not agreed to drop is his political ambition to become the Governor of the state in 2007.
Senator Mohammed who was speaking with journalists in Bida, Niger State, said his physical presence at the burial of the sister of the state governor in Lapai about a week ago, is a clear testimony that 'all is well between myself and the Governor."
Even though he did not state where and who reconciled both of them, the Senator said they agreed to as much as possible avoid sycophants who are only out to cause confusion and enmity between the two of them for their own favour.
He said they also agreed not to listen or act on rumour which is capable of causing disharmony between them and consequently retarding the progress of the state.
