The Delta State Football Association has rescheduled the abandoned semifinal match between defending champion, Delta United and Invincible Leopards FC, both from Warri, to today, July 31st.

According to the Chairman of the Delta State Football Association, Pinnick Amaju, the match, which has been fixed to hold on the football pitch Ekpan Police Station will kickoff at 3pm.

Speaking further, he said the association wants to be fair to all the clubs in the state and warned supporters of both teams to be of good behaviour or else they will be banned.

He said all things being equal that the state representatives will be known before the national draws of the FA Cup.
It would be recalled that the first semifinal match between Delta United and Invincible Leopards at the Oghara Township Stadium, ended in controversy after both teams had ended the game 1-1 and in the ensuing penalty kicks, trouble started when the match officials could not understand themselves.
In the second semifinal match, Ovwian United defeated Delta United Feeders 3-2, thus qualifying for the finals fixed for August 12, 2006.
