The University of Abuja has completed a new students hostel worth N300 million.
The hostel built at the permanent site of the institution, the university said, would accommodate over 1,000 students.
The completion of the hostel signalled the commencement of the movement of the university to its permanent site.
The university had used the premises of a secondary school in Gwagwalada, a suburb of Abuja, since its establishment 14 years ago.
The hostel was built to house male students of the institution.
The university said that another hostel with the capacity to accommodate 1,000 female students was 65 per cent completed.
