Two elderly men, Moliki Sule and Emmanuel Abogunde, who specialized in stealing domestic goats have been apprehended by police in Ondo State.

The two elderly men, who were in their late sixties, are said to have been stealing goats for years at Iyere, a suburb of Owo town. The duo, it was gathered, after stealing domestic goats would slaughter them, prepared part as pepper soup menu and roasted some as bush meats.

Investigations revealed that the two men, after eating the meat to their satisfaction, would sell some that have been roasted to unsuspecting travelers and people outside their village.
The duo, who stole goats within Owo town and its environs confessed that they used bread and salt to drug goats they stole. According to them, if the goats tasted the bread and salt their voices would cease so people would not know when they take them away.

Nemesis however, caught up with them as some people hinted the police at Owo the unholy act of the grand pas.

The suspects were caught killing a goat in their hideout. On sighting policemen, the two, who had suspected that the cat had been let out of bag, told police that they decided to kill their old domestic goat for menu.
They were rounded up and taken to Owo Divisional Police Station after which then were charged to court on two count charges of conspiracy and stealing.
