WAEC extends deadline for SSCE


The West African Examination Council has extended the entry period for the November/December 2006 West African Senior School Certificate Examination.....

The West African Examination Council has extended the entry period for the November/December 2006 West African Senior School Certificate Examination.

A statement by Senior Public Affairs Officer of WAEC, Mr. Biodun Aduloju, and made available to our correspondent on Tuesday, in Lagos, said the deadline had been extended till Friday, at no extra cost to the candidates.

The council added that the extension was based on appeals from prospective candidates and their parents.

But WAEC said late entries for the examination would start from July 22 to July 31 and this would attract an additional cost of N500.
